Chelsea's next Premier League match will take place on Wednesday, December 1st at Stamford Bridge. The Blues will travel to Vicarage Road Stadium to take on a Watford team that is in good form. Watford was the team that resulted in Ole Gunner Solskjaer being fired from his position.
Chelsea might be without as many as six of their best players for that encounter. Ben Chilwell, Mateo Kovacic, and N'Golo Kante have all been ruled out of the match against Watford, according to the manager.
Reece James, Jorginho, and Timo Werner are all questionable for the Watford match and will be subjected to late examinations. But Chelsea has a strong squad depth, and they should be able to cope with the injury issue with relative ease this season.
Romelu Lukaku returned to action against Manchester United and played a few minutes. Chelsea and coach Tuchel will benefit greatly from his availability on the field.
Following are the comments made by Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho on 'Big Rom'. "He came on and we were able to continue training. His wounded ankle does not seem to be responding in any way. He is at this point because he is ready to go on."
Chelsea are just one point ahead of Manchester City in the Premier League. The fight for the championship is becoming more close, and every game will be critical.
