Reports: A call for Chiefs to be sold has increased

Kaizer Chiefs have been on the losing side - on and off field. This isn't something that sat well with the Chiefs' supporters as they require changes within their favourite club. Otherwise, they will continue to see the Soweto giants being a laughing stock within the Premier Soccer League (PSL) which might be a painful process. However, they've trying to figure out ways that can make Amakhosi reclaim their glory again. At the moment, Chiefs haven't won the PSL title or any trophy in the last seven years. This has been stressing supporters seeing their club struggling in this manner. In a way that they cannot keep up with the dominant Mamelodi Sundowns which has sent chest pains at Naturena.

Hence, Chiefs' supporters wants the Soweto giants to be sold to another person who will bring capital so that they can be able to buy highly-rated stars like Sundowns. Numerous supports wants Chiefs to follow in Downs footsteps by getting a billionnaire to inject cash into the club in return of 50% of the ownership. Since, Masandawana is owned by the billionnaire Patrice Motsepe things have changed for the better as they've been unstoppable in winning trophies. After they've had a humongous cheque book that can buy different talents within the DStv Premiership and even abroad.

These talks resurfaced again on social media after Chiefs lost yet another transfer target to Sundowns. This time around Amakhosi and Masandawana went head-to-head for the services of Teboho Mokoena who plays for SuperSport United. Once again, Downs were able to get the signature of Mokoena following tabling a mouthwatering offer to their neighbours. This has slowly became a norm and Chiefs supporters are calling for the club to sold. As they feel that if they want to be equals with then they will have to break the bank during transfer windows.
