Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos had to make a late change in his starting eleven, when Vincent Pule got injured during warm-ups. The Orlando Pirates winger was named in the starting eleven to face off against Ethiopia in their FIFA World Cup Qualifies but unfortunately for Pule disaster struck as he was injured during the warm-ups.
It is kind of painful to Pule who was handed the jersey number 10 in the absence of national team vice captain Percy Tau who is still nursing an injury. Kutumela has been cleared to play against Ethiopia despite taking his COVID-19 vaccine dosage this week. Tshegofatso Mabasa will be playing his first game for Bafana Bafana and will be hoping to take his club form to national level and guide Bafana Bafana to victory.
Evidence Makgopa was dropped after failing to impress against Ghana and Zimbabwe respectively, while other are Calling for the introduction of Victor Letsoalo into the starting line-up. Change at the back as Terrence Mashego replaces Thapelo Morena in the starting line-up as Nyiko Mobbie is shifted to right back.
