Downs missed out in the quarter-finals of the CAFCL this previous season, and were harshly frustrated, as it was the main rivalry they entered in 2021/2022 they didn't win, after a decisive victory of homegrown prizes at home.
The Ugandan goalkeeper has said thanks to the fans for their help in the last mission, and requested that they continue to push the group as they hope to win significantly more prizes in the new season.
"Above all else I might want to thank the fans for being behind us this previous season since we truly missed them in the arenas," Onyango told the club's site.
"When the arenas at long last opened they came in numbers, particularly in the MTN8 they were with us and pushed us until the last whistle and that is the means by which we figured out how to win the MTN8. Furthermore, obviously in the association too, the Nedbank Cup and the CAF Champions League they've been awesome.
"All we want to do is to continue to urge them to come to the arena and to push the young men on the grounds that their help is ridiculously essential to the group and we accept that we can proceed to win more prizes in the approaching season.
"We are anticipating the following season, it will be fascinating in light of the fact that groups have additionally augmented their crews and we as a whole need to do the best that we can with and attempt to win the Champions League since it's late at this point.
"We accept that we have the capacity and the quality to do that."
