Dortmond young striker is a goal machine

In their first 2021/22 UCL match, Borussia Dortmund defeated Besiktas 2-1, with teenager Jude Bellingham playing a key role in the victory.

On 20 minutes, the midfielder gave his team the lead before assisting Haaland to score on the stroke of half-time.

Bellingham actually broke two records during the match, with his goal making him the youngest player in UCL history (18 years and 78 days) to score in consecutive games, as well as the youngest Englishman to score an away Champions League goal.

In a post-match interview, Haaland, who is one of football's most sought-after young players, praised his teammate's performance and abilities.

The Norwegian striker told the Metro, "He was magnificent."

"He's 18 years old, which is unbelievable! He's three years younger than me!" I don't know what to say. He is very remarkable.

"He's 18 and he's a fantastic player. He's unbelievable."

Bellingham joined the Bundesliga giants from Birmingham City when he was just 17 years old in July 2020, and he quickly established himself in the first squad, making 46 appearances in the 2020/21 campaign.
