The next PSL coach to be shown the exit door.

The new refurbished club Marumo Gallants have officially dismissed Sebastian Migne as their head coach following a disciplinary hearing. The club has announced the coach’s departure today. Migne had joined the club, formerly known as Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in July, now changed to Marumo Gallants. The Limpopo outfit are 15th in the DStv Premiership log and are yet to get a win in five games.

“Following a disciplinary hearing last Thursday, the 7th October 2021, Marumo Gallants FC have dismissed Sebastien Migne as head coach on Sunday. Migne has pleaded guilty for insubordination and using abusive language towards Technical Director, Harris Choeu,” as accordance to the club statement.

"The incident happened in public, and in the presence of players and the technical team at OR Tambo International airport on a trip to Durban last weekend to play against Golden Arrows.”

“As a coach, his duty is to instil discipline to the team,” explained Chairman Abram Sello in the statement.

“The club has followed correct disciplinary procedure and the decision to release him was made."

“It is very unfortunate that Sebastien had to be dismissed especially at a crucial time when we are pushing to remain in the league and advance in CAF."

“As management we cannot go against what the DC has decided but to wish Sebastien well in his future endeavours.” concluded the statement of the club

Marumo Gallants are in preparations for action next week as they are set to welcome AS Vita club from the Democratic Republic of Congo in the CAF Confederation Cup this coming Friday, the 15th of October, in Polokwane. Gallants paved their way to the competition through winning the Nedbank cup of which was the first ever trophy for the club, and now representing the country in African competition.
