Kaizer Chiefs has revealed that the club is dealing with some serious issues and here is what they stated:
Kaizer Chiefs has revealed that the club is dealing with five new Covid-19 cases bringing to the total of 36. Let us follow up on that.
Amakhosi were supposed to play Golden Arrows in Durban today, however, they have decided not to travel to KZN in view of the escalating crises in Naturena.
They also did not honor their home game against Cape Town City at the FNB stadium this past Saturday.
The club also revealed that several activities at Naturena are currently on hold to deal with the outbreak of Corona.
Last week they wrote to the PSL and requesting for postponement for all their December matches, this was after their 31 personnel tested positive on Covid-19. However, to date PSL has not responded to that request.
According to the club, "31 cases that were reported last week included technical team as well as some of the players".
