Mamelodi Sundowns Still Keen On Hlatshwayo

The high-flying Mamelodi Sundowns are still keen on signing Free State Stars player Sicelokuhle Hlatshwayo. Hlatshwayo decided to sign for stars in February this year even though Sundowns were interested in his signature, but the indications are that they are still keen for his signature.

Hlatshwayo signed a short contract in February with Stars. It is where he was training for a brief period, after mutually parting ways with Polokwane City last year. The Brazilians has identified the 26-year-old Hlatshwayo as a possible addition to their defensive structures.

The latest news has it that Sundowns will reignite their interest for his services when the current season ends. Free State Stars have the option to extend his contract beyond his initial short-term deal, although Sundowns’ financial muscle could sway the GladAfrica Championship side to cash in on him.

Hlatshwayo is keen on continuing his progress in the DStv Premiership in the new season – which leaves the door open for Downs to land their target.
