Thomas Tuchel has said that his job this summer will be like a "rebuilding project" because he expects to lose a number of key players.
Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen are almost certain to leave at the end of the season, when their contracts run out. Tuchel has said that everything will be settled by the end of the summer.
Kepa Arrizabalaga, the goalie for Chelsea, has been talked about as a player who might leave in the summer. Tuchel said he would talk to the most expensive goalkeeper ever signed, Frank Lampard, before making a decision.
Tuchel said about Arrizabalaga's future, "It depends on what he wants and what his goals are, but I know we are very lucky to have Edou [Mendy] and Kepa on our team."
"I'm sure Kepa doesn't like how things are going, and he deserves to play more. He has what it takes to be a very strong number one. He was the best goalie when he came in, so it's not easy for him." I can say for sure that he has always been a great team player who has never let anyone down.
"No, because we didn't talk about it." I'm sure the goalkeepers' coaches are talking about this right now. When we have time, we'll talk about it. As a coach, I'm glad that both of my goalkeepers are so good. Let's see."
