Watch: Chiefs Star Continues To Train Alone

Kaizer Chiefs Football Club reserve team captain and central defender, Jordan Sampson continues to train alone, as he is still working his way back from injury.

The lanky defender suffered a horrible knee injury back in 2021 that kept him out most of part of the club's 2021/2022 Dstv Diski Challange, before returning towards the latter of the competition to only re-injure the same knee which he is currently working on to get back to action.

The 21-year-old is the oldest player in the club's reserve team as all the players in the reserve team are below the age of 19, as the club is looking to plant youth in their senior team through their junior teams and Sampson is one of the few likely to join the first team.

To return to action fully fit and ready the South African youth international has brought in the expertise of Itumeleng Khune, Mduduzi Shabalala, and Themba Zwane's fitness trainer, Vusi Hlabangwana who is well known by the name Blackvreka.

As the talented celebrity trainer has in the last two months been helping Sampson to return to full fitness while going through his rehabilitation process, with training that will help him get stronger, fitter, and faster when he returns to the field of play.

With the Dstv Diski Challenge league campaign, just a few weeks from starting their 2022/2023 season Sampson has also upped his training, as he is racing against time to be fit and ready when the season starts next month.

The youngster was spotted training alone with the veteran trainer looking over him, as he is looking to be ready to return to action in time for the new season.

He knows the importance of next season for him, as it is a do-or-die situation for him given the age he is at.

What I love the most is that he is doing all the necessary work to give himself a chance to make it big in the next coming weeks.
