Cape Town All Stars played against Sekhukhune United in the National First Division and won the match 1-0 at home as they salvaged all three points from the match. Cape Town All Stars impressed at home by scoring the only goal in the match and by not conceding any goals at home. Cape Town All Stars goal were scored by Ndiviwe Mdabuka who scored for his side in the 71st minute as he gave his side the lead and the win in the end as Sekhukhune United failed to score any goals against the hosts.

Cape Town Spurs played their fixture in the National First Division against Pretoria Callies away from home, and impressed and stunned the visitors by scoring the only goal as they won the match 1-0. Cape Town Spurs picked up three away points form the match which were very much needed for them as they were struggling in the bottom of the table, but now safe out of bottom after the 1-0 win. Cape Town Spurs player Ashley Cupido socred the winning goal in the 52nd minute of the match.
