Keagan Dolly in, Bernard Parker out

Keagan Dolly in, Bernard Parker out.

Date: 19/04/2022

Keagan Dolly will be in for Kaizer Chiefs whilst Bernard Parker will be out for the club against Stellenbosch FC in their next DStv Premiership fixture. Chiefs lost their last fixture 1-0 to SuperSport United in the absence of Keagan Dolly who served a one-match suspension after picking up his fourth yellow card against TS Galaxy in the club's goalless draw.

The suspension saw Dolly miss the match against SuperSport United, but now Bernard Parker is set to miss the match against Stellenbosch FC after he picked up his fourth yellow card against SuperSport United. Against Stellenbosch FC Kaizer Chiefs will have to win the match as they've already dropped five points in just two matches played.

Keagan Dolly is in against Stellenbosch FC, but Parker is out, which leaves Stuart Baxter with selection choices to fill the void of Parker. Kaizer Chiefs is in the fourth place spot behind Mamelodi Sundowns, Royal AM and Cape Town City FC, and they need to start picking up points for a possible chance of qualifying for the CAF Champions League or the CAF Confederations Cup.

There were no CAF competition for Kaizer Chiefs this season after they made it to the finals last season, and they have to work hard towards qualifying again. The return of Keagan Dolly is good news seeing he's the club's topscorer this season.

Dolly is the driving force of the club's attack, and Chiefs will have to hope that Parker's absence doesn't influence the match results against Stellenbosch FC as they can't afford to drop points again. Samir Nurkovic and David Leonardo Castro is also there for availability and hopefully Nurkovic who opened his account this season against Chippa United can get on the scoresheet again.
