After the game between South Africa and Ghana lot of things were spotted and speculated that indeed that the match was involved in match-fixing. This came after SAFA complained to the Football International Federation Association and CAF after they feel like they were robbed when they were playing away in ghana. It is very disappointing that a big team like Ghana is now involved in match-fixing as they are always afraid to face the shame of disaster.

This comes after Ghana was in deep cry to qualify to the playoff rounds when South Africa was on top of group G. The match between Ghana and South Africa was a decider fixture as South Africa was on top of the log with 13 points with ghana at 10 points. The game was expected to be an exciting match as both teams wanted the whole three points with south Africa wanting a draw.

The game between Ghana and South Africa was played at the West Coast Stadium in Accra when both teams were planning to fight for the whole three points to advance. South Africa all they wanted was a draw and a win to secure their chances to play in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar next year.

According to the above source of information, it is believed that one of the Ghanaian soccer officials had paid a visit to the Senegalese match official before the game.

It is believed that the Ghanian official might have had a contribution to a referee who was expected to be a whistleblower in a match against Bafana Bafana as it looked evident that Ghana was not fit to beat South Africa.

Now it is up to FIFA to decide what measures must be taken with regards to the referee who was involved in a match between Bafana Bafana and Ghana.
