Former Talented Player Returned To Kaizer Chiefs, See Who It Is

Jabulani Mendu, a former Mamelodi Sundowns player, has spoken out over George 'Mido' Maluleka's lack of game time at Mamelodi Sundowns. The former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder was an instant hit at Chiefs before joining Chiefs' fierce rivals Sundowns, where he has only played 13 league matches in two seasons. Maluleka has appeared in two league matches for Sundowns so far this season, with eleven more scheduled for the 2020/21 season.

Mamelodi Sundowns has a number of talented players in their roster, and they have to compete for their spots in order to acquire regular playing time or simply more than those who are failing to find their way onto the pitch. Maluleka's lack of game time, according to Jabulani Mendu, has nothing to do with other players outperforming the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, as he believes Maluleka is better than most Sundowns players, but politics keeps him out of the side.
