John Black 'Master Drum' Madumo, the Mamelodi Sundowns' most ardent supporter, was rumored to have died a few days ago.

The Mamelodi Sundowns family and fans were shocked to learn of his demise. Supporters who paid respect to the family on social media continued to flood tributes their way.
At a time when he was most needed by the team, Mr. John Black 'Master Drum' Madumo passed away. Dr Irvin Khoza, the Premier Soccer League's chairperson, declared that fans will be allowed back into stadiums after a two-year ban, and his death is just days away.
It's a shame God took him away from doing what he loved most. 'Master Drum' John Black Madumo will be laid to rest in a custom-made casket.

Because he was a die-hard Mamelodi Sundowns fan, his coffin was emblazoned with the team's colors as a mark of respect.
