Krol ended a six years trophyless drought at the Buccaneers, and one of players who was part of the squad that almost conquered everything in local football Dikgang Mabalane, has revealed the recipe behind the Dutchman 'successful stint.
Speaking during an interview with Soccer Laduma on Wednesday, Mabalane who is now a pundit on Supersport Television, credited Krol for his man management skills.
"Krol used to have one on one meetings with us and that's an important thing. You need to make everyone feel special, then you will have a winning team. The confidence that the coach show In all players will reflect on the pitch. This is what Zinnbauer must establish, it's a skill that a coach must have. You need to have players that are willing to die for you on the field"- Mabalane told Soccer Laduma.
Orlando Pirates are still searching for their first piece of silverware, since winning the Nedbank Cup 6 years ago against Bidvest Wits.
Pirates have booked a date in the MTN 8 Final on the 12th of December, against Bloemfontein Celtics. The PSL haven't announced the venue for the match.
