PICTURES: Somalians now burning taxis in Johannesburg CBD?

A few days ago, chaos erupted in Gqeberha when Somali nationals waged war against taxi drivers. This was after taxi drivers in that area had a scuffle with a Somali national who later brought in his 'brothers' to the fight. The foreigners then set several taxis alight and the war escalated to several spaza shops owned by foreign nationals set alight. Police Minister, Bheki Cele, and his police force had to visit Gqeberha to calm the situation.

On Saturday morning, Criminologist, Yusuf Abramjee, reported about a taxi violence that has hit Johannesburg CBD. Abramjee shared pictures of burnt taxis with some shot on the windscreens. The violence reportedly took place in Von Weillig Street, and several South Africans claimed that the violence started by Somalians has escalated to Gauteng.

Apparently Weilegh Streetis full of foreigners who have an unruly behavior. Our country is descending into chaos. The worst part is we’re getting used to scenes like this now. We have a big problem with the governme which is failing to put laws that will protect everyone.

The governing party is busy campaigning when things are getting out of hand. No ANC leader is showing leadership at the moment. All the care about is convincing the electorate to keep them in power. Many things are going wrong in the country! In Gqeberha, Somalians were seen threatening to shoot SAPS members. They further demanded police to identify themselves. Where is the law in this country?

Some say we need to slaughter a goat in tge County to cleanse the bloodshed and unrest after effects. It's too much now!
