Over the years, South Africa youth would celebrate Youth Day by partying and other festivities. We would usually see people, young and old, dolled up in school uniform as they commemorate what the youth of 1976 did for the country. But this year, citizens are saying enough is enough! Instead of partying and boozing, they are taking matters into their own hands. They want to make the youth of 1976 proud by taking back the freedom they fought for.

"Dear South Africans. On June 16, lets March countrywide and fight this useless government. For how long are we going to keep quiet about the nonsense we are seeing everyday? 1. Illegal foreigners 2. The flag 3. Cyril 4. Julius 5. Loadshedding and that Stage 8". This is the message currently circulating as several South Africans plan to gather at Church Square and march to the Union Buildings. The march, which promises to be a mother of all marches Mzansi has ever had is planned for June 16, which happens to be Youth Day. "How long are we going to remain stupid? RAMAPHOSA MUST Go NOW. Organize like you did against Zuma", a Twitter user said.

Several South Africans say they are now ready to reject Ramaphosa and suffering. The black middle class is suffocating! "Wearing uniform to remember the heroes who lost lives in 1976 no longer help us with anything while we still oppressed even after Apartheid. We need to stand together and fight the current oppression we facing as South Africans being oppressed corrupt greedy government".

No youth activities by the ruling party will be allowed on this day. Citizens are tired of talk and no action. "As long as we chase away ruling party on all platforms in all activities of youth month. They can't undo the pain they've inflicted, stress and depression that has destroyed family structures", another tweep said. Let the Zimbabweans alone and this political parties celebrate, South African let's do shutdown on 16 june there is nothing to celebrate here we have been taken for granted for years!

I hope the plan can materialize. I think it's high time the Youth of South Africa takes to the street on the 16th of June and shut everything down. Everything must stand still! We are tired of this barbaric behaviour by our leaders. Enough is enough!
