
Fire broke out in a taxi while traveling to Umdloti Beach Road near waterloo in KwaZulu-Natal. Four people were injured on Friday 20 May,after jumping out on a taxi that has caught fire.
In a statement by (Rusa) Reaction Unit South Africa said it was contacted by witness requesting assistance for the injured victims
On arrival the paramedics found a Toyota hiace in flames four passengers were then located on the road a few metres away from each other and the vehicle.
They statement by rusa also mentioned that the passengers had suffered a few injuries that were caused by their actions of jumping out the vehicle
It is still unknown how the taxi ended up caughting fire.
Although the fire extinguishers service from Ethekwini came to the rescue it was so unfortunate that the found the car damaged beyond measures.
