All of the victims of the Enyobeni Tavern tragedy have been identified.

The final body of the 21 people who perished in the Enyobeni Tavern tragedy has been identified, according to the Eastern Cape Health Department. This indicates that all bodies have been identified and released to families, according to health spokesperson Yonela Dekeda. The tragic deaths of the teenagers, who ranged in age from 13 to 17, occurred on Sunday morning at a bar in Scenery Park. Thembinkosi Kinana, a spokesman for the provincial police, says they are still awaiting the forensic findings to confirm the cause of death.

He asserts that claims that a poisonous chemical is suspected to have been the cause of the deaths are unfounded because toxicology tests were conducted on samples taken from the bodies. "At this time, these reports are not true. As the SAPS, we are stating that after the report has been made available by the appropriate authorities, the SAPS will be the only official platform informing the general public and the pertinent families. Since there is no information in the report that suggests anything, we have not yet discussed the cause of death.
