More than 30 illegal miners arrested, surprisingly police officers found this in their pockets

It has been reported that 30 zama zamas (traditional South African condoms) have been discovered, according to the Daily Sun.

People in South Africa are participating in illegal mining because of money, and the bulk of those involved are foreign nationals from surrounding countries like Lesotho, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

Police in Kagiso, Zimbabwe, apprehended around 30 illegal miners on Tuesday following the community's support in rescuing them. The community is said to have stripped them down to their underwear before summoning the police. Surprised officers on the location discovered condoms, despite their inability to explain why such things would be kept underground.

However, despite their best efforts, the community was unable to learn why these men had such underground security. It is unfortunate that young individuals are being hired to commit crimes, when they should be attending school.
