A Nigerian scammer Kingpin had been arrested in his Mansion at Sandton.

Leader of the cybercrime James Aliyu had been arrested on Wednesday in a luxury estate Mansion in Sandton. He is accused of stealing close to R196 million through romance scams and business email compromise fraud.

SAPS arrested him at his house, Wich actually put an end to his spending and five years of alleged scamming people. Law enforcement source says that the alleged scammer was caught after a multi agency investigation that took place almost six years including the interpol and the Us Department of Homeland security investigations.

Aliyu is thought to be a member of an international gang, of Wich some members have already been found guilty in the US.

He is currently detained in jail on charges of fraud and will soon make appearance to court to face his charges.
