WARNING: Heavy rains may cause flooding in SA especially Gauteng

The South African weather services has issued and report warning us of heavy and consistent rainfall including, thunderstorms this week will be experienced all over the country, especially in the Gauteng province. Other provinces include Mpumalanga, Free State and North West. All these areas should be well aware and warned about possible flash foods.

According to the South African Weather Servicess the extreme weather conditions anticipated in the days ahead relate to the expected development of a so-called “cut-off low pressure system” in the upper atmosphere, which is likely to be positioned over the western areas of the Northern Cape on Saturday.
