Captured MEC Mandla Msibi to go through the night in prison 

The MEC for Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs, Mandla Msibi (45), will go through a night in a correctional facility forthcoming his bail application in the Nelspruit Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

A rising star 

Msibi rose through ANC positions, from being a ward councilor in the Mbombela to being a committee speaker, before previous Mpumalanga chief and current representative president, David Mabuza, co-selected him into the PEC. 

Head Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane named Msibi as agreeable administration and conventional issues MEC in 2018. The head redeployed Msibi to the farming portfolio when she reshuffled her bureau and eliminated Mabuza's supporters as a whole.

In an assertion, Mtshweni-Tsipane said: 

I see these claims as intense and appeal to everybody to permit the law to follow all the way through.
