The two young sisters Kamogelo Raphasha and Tshegofatso Raphasha went missing on 23 August 2021,they went missing for weeks, the young one was five and the older one was seven. They were last seen with their aunt who is mentally ill.
The bodies of the siblings were found on Tuesday 14 September 2021 around 18.00. Their bodies were found in the bush lying next to each other, the bodies were in a state of decomposition.
Limpompo police have opened an inquest document in order to find the truth about what really happened that led to this horrible incident. The police have asked the community members to remain calm and allow the investigators to do their job so that justice can be served. The police will conduct a post-Morten in order to determine the cause of death.
The police promised the community members that the investigation will continue until they find the person behind the death of the two young siblings.
