A 68 year old man handed himself to the police after loaing control and brutally stabbed Luthando Samora Mabumbulu at Nquthu Village, Butterworth.
According to the saps news report, on 11 October 2021 a 68 year old man and the deceased Luthando Samora Mabumbulu engaged in a heated argument which lead to a fist fight, during the fist fight the 68 year old man lost control and pulled out a knife and started stabbing Luthando several times on the upper body.
Luthando collapsed to the ground and unfortunately succumbed to the stab wounds, the incident was reported and police arrived at the scene while they were still processing the scene the 68 year suspect approached them and told them that he is the one who stabbed Luthando Samora Mabumbulu.
He was immediately arrested and taken to jail where he remained until he appeared at Butterworth Magistrate's Court yesterday 12 October 2021 on a charge of murder.
