Police in Brits were called to respond to an active cash heist near Keya Rena Mall. They found suspects who were busy attacking a cash van, the suspects drove off with cash. The suspects hijacked the vehicle when they were escaping the police, the vehicle was abandoned in another area where police managed to find it on time and that is what how they also got a chance to track where the suspects ran to.
Police managed to call for extra backup and eight suspects were later arrested. Ten firearms and undisclosed amounts of cash were seized. These are very dangerous weapons suspects use every time when they are perpetrating there CIT robberies, the main question is where they get all these things.
The suspects would appear in the Brits magistrate’s court within 48 hours of their arrest on charges of aggravated robbery, hijacking, possession of explosives, possession of suspected stolen money and possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
