A Limpopo man who draped his significant other in their home in an arranged self destruction has been imprisoned for a long time.
Commonplace police official Lt-Gen Thembi Hadebe invited the extensive sentence gave over by the high court in Polokwane to Lesetja Mogau Chaba, 39.
The court tracked down that on January 25, 2019, he killed his better half, Lerato Ntjana Chaba, "by balancing her with a rope in their RDP house at Lebowakgomo Section S, making it seem as though a self destruction," said police representative Brig Motlafela Mojapelo.
He then, at that point, went to his folks' home at Seleteng gaMphahlele, from where he reached his neighbors claiming that he was attempting to contact his significant other without reaction. His neighbor went to check and discovered her dangling from the rooftop.
Hadebe hailed the researching official, Detective Warrant Officer Nkhulu Makgoba, for breaking the case.
"As we are at present carrying out overwhelming designs to battle the scourge of sex based savagery and femicide, this sentence will send a reasonable message that the police are still up in the air to break any such cases and carry the offenders to book," Hadebe said.
