Kzn is currently experiencing one of the most horrible distractions ever seen or caused by nature. The province has been experiencing nonstop rain in some areas for the past few days.heavy rains that have been going on non-stop for the past few days have caused a lot of flooding and destruction in some parts of the Kwazulu-natal province.
France was destroyed so much that the month of April is going to be a devastating reminder to many people in the province of what they had and what they lost, as well as the lives of the people they loved that were lost. Many people in the province lost their homes and many of the belongings they had.
And because this is an urgent matter and it needs urgent action, especially from the government, the president has declared a provincial state of disaster, and people who have been affected by the floods will be assisted in every way possible.
Some of the good news is that the people in the province who have been affected by the floods will get an increased number of sassa grants. The sassa grants will go from R700 to R1 980 and this is only for the people who have been affected. The money will also be doubled for those who lost family members.
The announcement of the increase was made by the kwazulu-natal department of cooperative governance and traditional affairs on Saturday.
