Police are Looking for the suspect who shot and killed a man in cold blood at a petrol station on Thursday morning, 7 October 2021. The 59-year-old man victim passed by Shell garage in Voortrekker Road shortly after 2am when he was accosted by the gunman. The suspect asked for a lift from the victim, the victim just wanted to leave the place but then the suspect decided to shoot him in the head.
Unfortunately nothing could be done for the victim is he tired immediately on the scene before paramedics could arrive, so far no arrests been made as the suspect managed to escape. The hijacker stole his Honda BR-V and fled the scene in the direction of Goodwood. This is all captured in a video footage, the hijacker was wearing a grey hoodie when he walked up to the deceased victim.
Suspect first spoke to the victim then when the victim dismissed him, he shot him on the head then took his car and fled the scene. Gunsmoke can be seen as the bullet hits him at point-blank range.
