Mpumalanga Woman Arrested For Stealing R1.5 Million
Annelize Holtzhausen is a lady that lives in Hardespruit in Mpumalanga, she was overseeing financial administration in a company, for which she started working on the 28th of January 2019, she stole from the company 185 times creating fake companies to pay them money for services not rendered.
She was on the procurement side of the company, she made sure that the people and suppliers are paid the correct amount, but when an Audit was done it was found out that she allegedly stole 1.6 million and the hawks are spokesperson Maluleke spoke about the irregularities he found in the company.
It was discovered that she might have been putting money in the bank account of his husband instead of putting it in the accounts of people who deserve it, like companies that are service providers. The Mpumalanga lady is facing up to 10 years in prison for her actions, the people that she did “Fraud” is going to land her in some of the toughest prisons in the country, she will be arrested when the trial concludes, and her crime will not go unnoticed in the eyes of the law.
People should understand that where there is money involved the company will need all of the supporting documents that will make it easier to process and understand. The Mpumalanga lady is facing charges of fraud, as she did her horrendous act more than 100 times not noticing that she is doing it wrong and should be condemned.
Finance officers should be able to protect people, and care for them, that is how they will protect the wealth from ever escaping their path. She is going to have it hard in prison as she will leave her two children with no one around to protect them.
