Police stopped a suspicious white BMW in Joburg CBD and this is what they found.

The K9 Unit of the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) made the arrests that led to these five individuals being charged with illegal possession of unlicensed firearms, ammunition, and counterfeit money. The JMPD K9 Unit was largely responsible for the department's success in bringing the culprits to justice.

According to a report that was published yesterday by the K9 Unit of the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD), there were five males inside of a suspicious white BMW automobile that was located on Eloff Street and Village Road (Saturday, 6 August 2022). (The Province of Gauteng).

The officers made the decision to come to a stop and then search the vehicle. After performing a search, the authorities discovered two illegal firearms, ammunition, and counterfeit money with a total value of R700 in the possession of the suspects. As a consequence of the arrests, the suspects were transported to the Johannesburg Central SAPS Jail, where they were placed under arrest.

On Monday, August 8, 2022, each of the five suspects will be brought before the judge to answer for their alleged involvement in illegal activities involving firearms, ammunition, and counterfeit currency. The hearing is scheduled to take place on Monday.
