The Standerton police are reportedly investigating a double murder which saw a minor aged 12 and his aunt falling to their death in a maize silo .
It was reported that the 33-year-old aunt and the 12 year old minor mysteriously lost their lives when they had fallen inside a maize silo. The tragic incident took place on Friday in the evening . It was reportedly around 6pm when it took place .
In accordance with the report , the boy fell inside the maize silo on that the fateful day. It was further alleged that his aunt , Jackie Rautenbach fell inside as well when she was trying to to pull him out.
Jackie's husband reportedly alleged that he heard the screams when he was a few metres away. When he rushed to the scene, it was too late as the two had already lost their lives. The paramedics also declared them dead upon arrival .An inquest case is being investigated by the police.
