Crime in South Africa has gotten out of hand and it will not only take the law enforcement to make sure the citizens are safe and as well as their money, citizens also need to work closely with the law enforcement in order for the crime to lessen.
A lady revealed that, she got robbed at gun point and was told to transfer the money and she had two thousand in the account.
"Yesterday I was robbed, held at gunpoint to transfer funds from my account, R2000. I immediately called Capitec after the incident to stop the transaction. I was put on hold for a good twenty five minutes for their fraud department. Yes, they did not stop the transaction because it was too late", read the tweet
"The fraud department at Capitec is a nightmare. I had a fraudulent transaction done on my credit account two weeks ago. I now know all that elevator music, they play while you are being placed on hold for the next available agent. No sense of agency, whatsoever ",one commented
