Another Woman Commits Suicide By Jumping Off A Building In Sandton

They say that you should be kind to people because you never know what they are going through. Too many people around us are dealing with and suffering from their own personal issues that they are not vocal about, and when it becomes too heavy for them, they decide to take their own lives instead by committing suicide.

Every year, an alarming number of people commit suicide in South Africa, and no matter how much awareness is raised about mental health issues and how real they are, it appears that no difference is being made, especially in the Black community, where most people do not understand mental illnesses or simply choose to believe they do not exist.

Someone taking their own life is one of the most heartbreaking things, especially when just something as simple as listening to them could have saved their lives. A tragic thing happened in Sandton today, after a woman decided to take her own life by jumping off a building.

No word has been shared about the incident that took place today, but the police are still investigating what could have really happened. The horrific scene took place on November 27th, 2021, on a Saturday afternoon. The lady unfortunately died on the scene and was not able to be rushed to the hospital.

And this is not the first time a person has decided to take their own life. Before this, a 19-year-old learner decided to commit suicide at Sandton mall. People are clearly suffering in silence. It is important to create a safe space for people to talk without being judged.
