Tragedy struck at Hammanskraal, Renbro Shopping Centre on Sunday morning when four taxi operators were left dead. Unknown men started firing their firearms at the four operators. It is still unknown as to what may have been the cause of the shooting and police are investigating.
It is alleged by spectators that a vehicle emerged from nowhere and started aiming and shooting straight at the taxi operators at Renbro, taxi rank next to KFC.
Moretele Community Radio posted on their social media page about the news. It is alleged that no one else was injured. One person commented on the post that, "The car occupants went straight to the 4 that was sitting and shot them. They didn't fire shoots at anyone except the 4, looks like they targeted the 4 (according to source I spoke to, 2 it was said its taxi owners 1 is the guy selling in the rank, the other was said it's a taxi marshal)."
Hammanskraal residents were left in shock and sent their condolences.
