Smoke billowing from the building alerted members of a vigilante group who discovered the tragedy.
When they arrived, they discovered the burnt body of a lady whose identity was still unknown.
The incident occurred early Monday morning near the famed Timber Road in Oyigbo.
According to an eyewitness who spoke to THE WHISTLER, the lady "was seen attempting to jump over the fence of the building, which is an unfinished hotel, with a one-liter gallon of fuel."

Ihuoma Martins, the Leader of the Local Vigilante 'OSPAC,' verified the story and stated that the lady's body had been deposited at a morgue in the region by the police.
