After her airbag deployed, a 42-year-old woman leaped out of a moving automobile in Durban.
The lady was driving on New Glasgow Road in Canelands, Verulam, on Thursday afternoon, according to Prem Balram of Reaction Unit SA.
"At around 15:03, members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were deployed to the single car collision."
"When I arrived, the distraught female was sitting in the grass next to her blue Mercedes-Benz C220."
"Events leading up to the collision were supposedly seen by a pedestrian."
"He informed Reaction Officers that as the female stopped the vehicle, the airbag on the driver's side quickly deployed."
"She tried to get out of the automobile, which started rolling. As the truck acquired velocity while traveling downhill, the driver leapt. The vehicle then slammed with a wall before coming to a rest in a ditch."
The driver stated that she was returning from her mechanic, who had performed repairs on her vehicle.
Minor injuries were sustained by the woman.
