Today, 22 April 2021, at about 11:30 Emer-G-Med paramedics were called and informed about a shooting incident at a popular shopping center in Lilian Ngoyi Road, Windermere.
They immediately rushed to the scene where they found a male patient aged 34 years old lying on the ground and they assessed him and discovered that he had sustained a single low caliber gunshot injury to his right leg. He was treated and stabilized on scene, before being taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
According to reports this man was from a banking facility then two suspects spotted him and followed him to the mall, they then demanded money from him and that led to a quarrel. As they were in an argument the suspects further pulled out their firearms and shot him, fortunately they shot his leg not any crucial part of his body. Police have launched a manhunt for this suspects and their urging members of the public we might have any information regarding this incident to inform them.
