After the recent taxi saga that transpired after a taxi driver had driven over a Somalian, in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.

Now more taxis have been burnt in in Johannesburg at Carlton Centre, it is believed that the burning was a result of a rivalry between two associates.

It is not uncommon for taxi violence to happen in South Africa, there is a lot of tension in the taxi industry and when individuals fight the first thing they do is cause harm and burn taxi's.

In the last event of burnt taxis in Port Elizabeth, the police had to intervine before the umfight could become very violent or a potential race war, filling the Phoenix saga and unrest
