According to Brig Selvi Mohlala, a woman contacted her mother at her police station on October 28 and claimed to be assisting her unemployed young mother.
"She [her suspect] then offered to take her child's mother to the local grocery store and embrace her. "When her mother returned, she discovered the suspect had taken her child with him," Mohlala added.
A kidnapping investigation is launched by Mother. On Wednesday, police burst into a building in Embalenle's Annex 5 and pursued the kidnapping suspect.
"Inside the residence, an abducted child was discovered, and a suspect was detained and charged with kidnapping."
