They were sitting in a brand new white VW Amarok; when the assailants opened fire on them. The one who caught fire first laid outside the bakkie face down.
While the other was shot while sitting on the driver's seat and died slumped in a sitting position. This happened in full view of those who were in doctor's rooms.
Duzimed Centre surveillance camera caught the footage in full. A woman walks past the bakkie a few minutes before the attack. She was lucky not to be caught by a stray bullet.
A video of the whole incident is circulating on social networks.
It is not clear whether the shooting has something to do with taxi wars or drug related. Both victims were found unresponsive by the Netcare team.
They died on the scene of the incident. The three assailants came from different directions. Two of them came from Boshoff street; while the one who entered the parking lot first; ran in from Burger Street.
He was also the first to run out heading towards Boshoff street; while the other two continued to finish the job.
