The ANC is hard at work campaigning for the upcoming local government elections.
One of their posters which they released on their social media channels states that they will fix roads, potholes, sewage spills and broken water pipes.
This was part of its manifesto.
Not many people seem to be convince about this as many have lost trust and hope in the party.
The issues of potholes and water issues as well as roads have long existed in South Africa.
It is always during election time that the ruling party would go on and tour the country promising to make a difference to these.
There are pretty bad roads in parts of the country which have dangerous potholes which may even cause serious accidents if people drive into them.
The issue is that when it is raining many potholes are not visible which then makes the car and driver vulnerable to danger.
It is unclear if the ANC is serious about this promise which they have made.
