While South Africans Are heading To 1 November, News24 Reveal This Terrible Thing May Happen

News24 in its analysis has come with a conclusion that there is a high tendency that about 43 municipalities may collapse and the crisis that surrounds service delivery may get worse.

“While South Africans are heading to the ballot box on 1 November, News24's Out of Order index, calculated from a set of data painstakingly collated over the last two months, suggests that the crisis on the frontline of service delivery is likely to deepen,” reported by news24.

Many municipalities in South African are suffering from the lack of good water supply, poor electricity, bad roads and other basic amenities. This is due to bad government and mismanagement of government funds. News24 used all these data to analyze everything and come to the conclusion that the crisis in those localities may deepen.

The data by journalism revealed that 43 municipalities, over and above the 87 already red-flagged by the government, are in the danger zone of collapse.

All the 43 municipalities mentioned by news24 are not among the places officially published by the South African government through the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta).

The municipalities listed by news24 are Mbashe, Great Kei, and Intsika Yethu in the Eastern Cape; Impendle, Umvoti, and Nongomo in KwaZulu-Natal; Elias Motsoaledi (Greater Groblersdal) in Limpopo; Kagisano-Molopo in North West, and Dikgatlong in Northern Cape was also included.

What can you say about the municipalities listed by News24 as the places likely to collapse but not mentioned by the government? Drop a comment.
