On July 4, 2022, nine suspects including two ladies and seven males will reappear before the Taung Magistrates' Court.
On 29 June 2022, police arrested Oleogeng Donald Bohelo (age 29), Tumisang Duncan Lobelo (age 23), Bakang Makolonkwane (age 42), Mosepele Gideon Mompati (age 64), Amos Mbolelo Sanoke (age 27), Grace Molemoeng Segacwe (age 41), Frans Seabelo Thae (age 54), Gobonamang Thae (age 39), and Tekoet
Dikakanyo Sanoke, age 19, is accused of having been taken against his will to some nearby bushes on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, when he was at home in Loselong Village, Pudimoe. Senoke, who was accused by the mod of housebreaking. As a result, he was beaten to death by the accused.
On Wednesday, June 29, 2022, the accused were located, taken into custody, and we were brought before the Taung Magistrates' Court for the first time. They were kept under house arrest. There will soon be more arrested linked to this murder.
Lieutenant General Sello Kwena, the provincial commissioner for North West, issued a warning that lawlessness will not be tolerated by the police and that anyone who challenges the legitimacy of the government will face the consequences.
