A family in Seshego woke up to a terrible sight this morning after they parked their brand new car outside of their home. Theft and vandalism have always been an issue in this country. Although many have suggested ways to end those problems, little or no progress has been made. There is no real reason for stealing aside from the quick gains that the criminals get from it.
According to reports, a family in Seshego(zone 8) woke up to a pitiful sight this morning after they found their brand new car burnt to ashes. It was gathered that the act was perpetuated by a suspected thief who tried to steal petrol from the car. However, things went bad when the car caught on fire.
When people woke up to the scene, they found the burnt car along with a motorcycle helmet which is alleged to belong to the suspected thief. From trying to steal petrol, the brand new car got destroyed.
The police and SCACAG have appealed to the public for information about the owner of the helmet found at the crime scene.
"According to the family in Seshego ( Zone 8), a man left only the helmet in their home trying to steal petrol from their brand new car tank which led to him setting it alight in the early hours of Friday, 05 August 2022. According to reports, the car caught fire and burned while he was trying to steal the petrol. The police and SCACAG say anyone who can spot the owner of the helmet should contact them," reports say.
It is rather sad that the Seshego family lost their brand new car in these trying times when the price of almost everything has gone up. Stealing is bad and it is pitiful that these people lost their car, we only hope that they get justice.
