The 22-year-old woman from North West who allegedly stabbed her cousin to death is expected to apply for bail next month .The woman identified as Onkarabetse Monare made her appearance in the Schweizer-Reneke Magistrate´s Court on Monday the 29th of November 2021 .
The court was informed that the verification of the suspect´s address in preparation for her bail application ha been completed .The suspect will also be using her right for assiatance with legal representation as well .Her arrest was made on the 20th of November after stabbing her 42 year old cousin , Onneleng Mothupi.
It was alleged that the deceased went to visit his mother with his girlfriend . Upon arrival , the suspect was there .It is then that an argument allegedly ensued and the suspect took out her knife , threatening to kill the deceased .
The girlfriend´s deceased managed to block that from happening and took away the knife .At some point , the girlfriend left the deceased on their own as she went to her place .. Moments later , the deceased reportedly went to his girlfriend´s place alleging that he had been stabbed in the upper body .When an ambulance was called , the deceased died from the stab wounds before he could even be taken to hospital.
