Suspect Susan Wambui, the mother of the deceased, is accused of carrying out the horrible act and fleeing the scene. It has been reported by neighbors that Susan has been of unsound mind and has been torturing her son since the day she gave birth to him.
An anonymous neighbor who asked not to be identified said that Susan might leave her kid hungry for days before feeding him with breast milk.
Residents were alarmed to discover that Susan's house had gone silent all of a sudden, and that this had not been the case in the past. When they approached the door to see if Susan was inside, they discovered that the door had been locked without the use of a padlock, which was frustrating. When they first walked into the house, they noticed the baby's hand hanging from the bucket of water.
Susan was discovered sat in a forest 20 kilometers away after her neighbors reported the incident to the police, who mounted a manhunt for her and eventually apprehended her.
She was taken into custody by authorities and is currently being held in police custody. The child's body was transported to the mortuary.
