DUDUZA cops are searching for the group of a man who was discovered caught in a bakkie.

The man suffocated after the bakkie dove into the stream. 

It was discovered lying on its rooftop in the early long stretches of Friday, 12 February. 

Sergeant Harry Manaka said the police were cautioned by bystanders who saw the vehicle coasting in the waterway along the R550 street close to Driemanskap in Duduza, Ekurhuleni. 

"On appearance, the police found a silver Mazda Drifter twofold taxi bakkie with enlistment number HN 47 GP in the stream, a couple of meters from the fundamental street. The police couldn't get to the vehicle as the water ebb and flow was excessively solid. Accordingly, jumpers from the SAPS Water Wing Unit were gotten." 

A pursuit resulted and eventually, the body of a man was discovered caught inside. 

"The man is obscure, and the police presume that he may have failed to keep a grip on his vehicle, driving it to dive into the waterway stream."
