In the KwaZulu-Natal political spectrum, Simon Hulumeni Gumede was an important leader. He held the position of most senior IFP. In 2007, he was killed in a car accident. Gugu Gumede, better known by her stage name Mamlambo, is his biological daughter. He and Zanele KaMagwaza Msibi, who was born in November 1991, were the parents of Gugu. After being hospitalized, Zanele also passed away today, on the 6th of September in the year 2021. Being blessed with both parents is a priceless blessing, but it is not in the hands of the individual to decide when their parents should pass away. Death can strike at any time and without warning. Sadly, Gugu has now lost both of her beloved parents, which is heartbreaking.
He served as the inkosi of the KwaMakhasa and KwaNibela tribes, as well as a prominent member of the Inkatha Freedom Party. Simon Gumede ( IFP).
He was in a number of important roles in the government and within his political party.
Gumede, a former traditional leader, was well-known for his dedication to the well-being and preservation of the traditional leadership institution.
He put in a lot of effort to make KwaZulu-Natal a better place to live.
